Objective: To promote their competence level in math and English language.

Subject: Math and English

Math: Arithmetic, geometry, probability, data analysis and problem solving.

English:  Words (synonyms, antonyms, analogies, cloze passage, verbal tense) and Reading

100 pts    Essay w/ literature

Books required for the competition essay:

Gr3 - Gr5  "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," by Mark Twain
Gr6 - Gr8  "Pride and Prejudice," by Jane Austen
Note: Paperbacks are recommended even though eletronic version available.

Level: All grade levels will have different tests.

Test Date: 1/26 and 1/27

Award Ceremony: 2/8 (Saturday morning)

Prep: A mindful student should look forward to this opportunity as a thrust for improvement.

Seating: Only 50 students allowed for each grade, on first-come-first-serve basis.

Prize: Top 3 of each grade/subject will receive prizes.

Certificates: Students in the top 10 of each grade will receive certificates.



Test booklets will be collected after the test. The booklet(s) will be released restrictively per selection.
