AY (Blair) Scored 512/528 in MCAT

Even after mastering every intensive elective my high school offered—from quantum physics and multivariable calculus to organic chemistry—I still felt an untapped wellspring of energy.

After a discussion with my college admission adviser, Michael Li, he threw out a daring challenge: prepare for and take the MCAT in two months. The sheer audacity of it stopped me cold, sending my mind racing with possibilities.

Dr. Li's college admissions service was very useful for providing me guidance on essays and constructing my personal narrative. The staff that worked with me was incredibly helpful in giving me ideas for essays and showing my best and authentic self to the admissions officers. Before the early application deadline, we focused heavily on the CommonApp personal essay.

Writing this about M&E's college counseling program. At first sight, you would imagine it to be simple essay editing, but it's not just that. Once you sign up in the summer before senior year, you're greeted by a full team to help you discover yourself and equip you for the best shot at your top choice college. In the beginning, they took much time digging through my extracurricular involvement and managed to frame my activities in some ways I didn't even expect.

I am very grateful for the support that I have received from the MathEnglish academy. I was initially struggling with my SAT scores, as I could only get a 1380 on practice tests and could not raise it higher. I took the summer SAT camp and was met with various teachers who greatly cared about my success. That fall, I took the SAT and achieved a 1520 which greatly helped with my college applications.
