Writing Skills Sliding Down the Hill

Writing is the way to make your desires, wishes, and demands visible.

Without it, you remain invisible and ignored.

However, we are deeply concerned that only a few students can complete a 200-word in-class essay, while most struggle to reach even 50 words, and many can barely form a complete sentence. This trend highlights a growing crisis in English literacy, which has now reached an alarming low.

Students who lack strong writing skills will face limited opportunities compared to those who can effectively express themselves in writing. We urge parents to take proactive steps to support their children’s literacy development and help reverse this troubling trend.
