At the camp, the boys are forced to dig holes under the scorching sun as part of a mysterious treasure hunt orchestrated by the warden. Amidst the grueling labor, Stanley forms a friendship with Zero, another boy at the camp, and together they embark on a perilous journey to uncover the buried secrets of Camp Green Lake, confront the warden's hidden motives, and break the curse that has haunted Stanley's family for generations.

"Summer of the Monkeys" by Wilson Rawls ($9.00) is a  coming-of-age story set in the late 1800s. It follows the adventures of Jay Berry Lee, a fourteen-year-old boy living on a farm in Oklahoma. When a troop of monkeys escapes from a traveling circus and takes up residence in the nearby woods, Jay Berry sees it as an opportunity to capture them and claim the reward money, which he hopes will bring financial relief to his struggling family.
