We are seeking a talented and hungry writing instructor that can engage in lively discussions with our students through our online writing platform and provide insightful and timely commentary on their work. Writing assignments and feedback are submitted entirely through our website, and your job will entail scoring students' assignments in addition to providing meaningful feedback. Our ideal candidate holds a stable full time job, but is hungry to make a difference in students' lives in his or her spare time. This role is meant to be an interesting part-time job that yields additional long term stable income. In other words, we are seeking a long term partner that will grow together with us and our students.

Student feedback involves much more than merely correcting superficial grammatical errors and word choice. Although mechanics are undeniably important, the instructor's personal influence should be imparted that encourages, inspires, and motivates our students to write. Special attention must be paid to the coherency of arguments, author's voice, and organizational issues.

Candidates must possess the following characteristics:
- A liberal arts degree from an accredited American university.
- Confidence in his or her own writing ability.
- Capability to inspire others with one's writing.
- Delight in sharing their writing experience.
- Reliability and accountability to provide feedback to students in a timely manner.

A PayPal account is required to receive weekly payments for your grading services. 

How much can I expect to be paid per essay?

The following rates are general guidelines. We are open to hearing what you have to offer and having a conversation.
3rd-5th grade: 8.00 US dollars 
6th-8th grade: 10.00 US dollars 
9th-11th grade: 12.00 US dollars 

How many essays will I receive a day to grade?
Usually, you will receive 3 to 10 essays a day on average, depending on the quality of your work as well as your workload preferences.
